Dr. Annamarie Milburn is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She joined Eye Care of Denton after managing her own private practice in Ohio for 19 years. During this time she enjoyed providing comprehensive family eye care and managing ocular disease.
Dr Milburn received her Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2001. Before going to optometry school, she earned a Bachelors of Science with honors in the Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She received specialized training in ocular disease while serving our Veterans at the Columbus, Ohio VA clinic. Dr. Annamarie also completed a two year rotation at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute. She is skilled at diagnosing, treating, and managing all forms of eye disease. She has a passion for pediatric optometry and advanced contact lens designs including contact lenses for astigmatism and multifocal contacts.
Dr. Milburn’s husband is also an optometrist and they have three teenage daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and being involved in her children’s many extracurricular activities.
